Well, Murdo is a superstar... we have as you know been showing visitors about on a pretty regular basis since he came to stay. As someone is up there around lunchtime most days to feed, muck out and cuddle both him and Poppy. Again today, we had 6 people to show around and Murdo was the reason two ladies from England initially stopped by. Though he was very obliging today and boinged over to make sure everyone got to scratch his dossan.
Donning the obligatory hard hats, we troddled off on a wee tour. Postcards and shortbread were given out and the visitors' book was not forgotten. Now it lives at the castle it will be filling up as quickly as the postcard box empties. Everyone enjoyed their tours and all were generous with their donations, we thank everyone for that. Richard popped up to catch the stonemason and he ended up answering lots of questions to a keen castle loving Canadian. We were also given a bottle of wine from a German family because the charming gentleman bringing his daughter to see the area he had been visiting 50+yrs ago 😉
A beautiful day, if a little warm 😮 for the Nethy Bridge Spring gathering and l went up and had the castle open. Had a large group of 12 for a tour on my arrival everyone was enthralled to meet the coo and get cuddles. Even if he was a little loud as breakfast was not coming quick enough 😉
With two little ones to entertain and a new donations box to fix up along with numerous visitors, our furthest being Austrailians today, l was useless at photos so have stolen some from Claire George, thank you. Poppy was a superstar too keeping everyone entertained with her cowboy hat fashion show.
