    Castle Roy

The Castle Roy Trust has taken 25 years to secure the walls and make the area safe for visitors. We are ready for WEDDINGS and PERFORMANCES in the grounds with utilities on site and a large area flattened for marquees. The Bards Bowl and Panoramic Picnic Point allow for fun and games for the whole family. As of summer 2019, there is still some building work continuing and we hope that soon the castle will be completely open. At present, accompanied tours can be given on request.

It's that time of year again folks. The snow has left and Murdo can finally get out and do his spring cleaning, "mowing the mound"!
We do not have long until the wonderful builders arrive, so he will be out 24/7 until the end of the month and then at weekends until he has run out of foggage.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused as we realise some people like a potter round the place. It will be open again in March. We hope everyone is well and enjoying the spring weather?
All the best stay safe, thank you.

Murdo says "hello everyone, l hope you are all well and staying safe"? He has not particularly been enjoying the weather but he is liking his new joint supplement... 2 weeks ago he was struggling with the cold and his wibbly knees, however, today was a whole other story! Safe to say he has his ping back πŸ™‚
