Castle Roy is a beautiful historic ruin near Nethy Bridge that couples can use for intimate, simple events, and every booking helps pre serve it for the future. But, we are not just about weddings. Let your imagination run wild! Here are photos of some of the events held.

We do not have set fees, we just ask for a suitable donation towards maintenance, electricity and water.
We have an arrangement with Deveron Loos, who have offered fantastic deals to provide loos for events at the castle.
Catering
We are spoilt with some wonderful local caterers. Good Highland Food have already done some events there and Speyside Kitchen did our Official Opening. You can have anything from burgers to banquets! Our latest caterer is The Forest Cafe
We also have two events companies based in the village.
Speyside Events will organise any type of event.
Wide Sky Weddings often works with a local photographer, Catriona Parminter.
For our German friends we can work with Schottland Hochzeit. However, these are only suggestions!
Marquees
There are three areas for marquees of varying sizes. The Matrimonial Meadow for a very large one, the Bard’s Bowl and the Inner Courtyard for others. There is easy access for catering and plenty of parking.
I should mention that some folk choose to use the Old Kirk, next door, for the ceremony and then drinks, or their reception at the castle. I am trying to show you that there are endless possibilities for events of any type.

Summer Car Boot Sales
Starting from May 2026 we are holding monthly Summer Car Boot sales, Drop in or Book in, your choice! May to Sept – First Sunday every month and Open from 11am to 1pm.
