The Castle Roy Trust has taken 25 years to secure the walls and make the area safe for visitors. We are ready for WEDDINGS and PERFORMANCES in the grounds with utilities on site and a large area flattened for marquees. The Bards Bowl and Panoramic Picnic Point allow for fun and games for the whole family.
As of summer 2019, there is still some building work continuing and we hope that soon the castle will be completely open.
At present, accompanied tours can be given on request.
A first or two for the Castle today. Firstly thanks to Jack frost or who ever it is responsible for the white stuff 🙂 and a huge thanks to Caroline Clark for letting us know that there was a wee snippet about our favourite orange ones worldly adventures. Daily Express 8/11/19. If anyone near by has a copy we would love it when you have finished with it.
Thank you very much from Himself with the warm horns and his wee Pumpkin pal... who has been on wee social media adventures of his own 😉
🎃The last of the Baahicans has gone... poor Buster has decided to be the one to welcome in Halloween in his own special way 🎃
👻🧛♂️🧛♀️🧙♀️HAPPY 🎃 HALLOWEEN🧙♂️🧟♀️🧟♂️👻
🎃So today he was popped into his wee pen and his mohican was snipped and then....oh dear... Murdo was a little stunned by the result but probably best that for a wee while they have their own space. (Murdo needed a wee bitty more to eat, however, Buster did not!) so please see the result of my 'trick' but he did gets 'treats' 🎃
🎃No animals were harmed in the making of the pumpkin, it is sheep marker spray and perfectly safe for him... however my toes got stepped on repeatedly so karma has been instant 🎃
