The Castle Roy Trust has taken 25 years to secure the walls and make the area safe for visitors. We are ready for WEDDINGS and PERFORMANCES in the grounds with utilities on site and a large area flattened for marquees. The Bards Bowl and Panoramic Picnic Point allow for fun and games for the whole family.
As of summer 2019, there is still some building work continuing and we hope that soon the castle will be completely open.
At present, accompanied tours can be given on request.
Had a wee play and attempted to make a transfer, this was my first attempt. I am thinking they would make cute wee coasters or similar, obviously on a bit of better wood, we need a spray to stop the brush strokes on the top coat and we need to reverse the image and try to work out how to put Castle Roy on it... thinking these may make a nice gift, what do you guys think? I know l need to practice and learn how to not rub off the edges, oops 🙂
'Moo'rry Christmas one and all from the team at the Castle. Thank you so much for all your visits and of course your donations, every penny makes a difference. Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2020.
Been a tad wet lately so Murdo helped with the house keeping by his hay. Buster thought it was food and took his pumpkin self off in a huff while trying to empty his greedy gob of shavings, silly sheep 😉
