It is not a bad place for a picnic, is it?
This is what we built it for!
The grounds are open, even though we are still growing the grass and sorting out the inside. So, don't forget to take advantage of it during the sunny summer that we are planning to have!
Murdo is in disgrace! We planted a tree... was advised to take the lower branches off so it grew more of a trunk and gave it a chance to grow well 'up top'... well err umm now we have a stick with about 4 leaves on... someone ginger says "sorry, l only wanted to help" ! Little t*#d! But hey we found a temporary solution so all is good, pray for the twig ;p
Remember its the Nethy Bridge Spring Gathering tommorow Sunday 5th of May 12.30pm. This is on the games field in the village and we will be opening Castle Roy too, Murdo is eager to meet and greet, providing he hasn't run out of puff dashing about practicing how quick he can scoot between feed stations 🙂 Hope to see you there 🐂
What a busy week. Volunteers were up helping with jobs, pond plants were sunk, trees were dug in and all hands on deck to ensure the grass grows on the Bard's Bowl. On Sunday the castle was open for the horsey 'bits and bobs' sale. We had glorious weather and a jolly nice day 🙂 Monday. The coo is warm (as was the temperature in my car which was not parked directly in the sun proved). Murdo enjoyed a wee shower before heading off for another munch 🙂
